Ironically, Wilsonstrasse, named after the theater maker Robert Wilson, former guest professor at the institute, has existed twice in Giessen.

One is parallel to Aulweg, corner Riegelpfad, corner Liebigstrasse, 3 minutes walk to the Klimbim pub and probably named after another American. And the other one in the Institute for Applied Theater Studies.

Once a week, on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., students at the institute organized an editorial meeting in which the program for the coming week was discussed. In addition to live broadcasts, the pieces can be listened to as podcasts. Since 2020 we have been supporting the Theatermaschine festival with communication, DJ streaming and a digital stage.

Since 2021, Wilsonstrasse.FM has been completely self-organized and is realizing student projects and publishing the HTA lecture series as a podcast.
